The Chameleon restaurant Temple Bar - Intro

The Chameleon was opened in 1994 on a shoestring budget by current owner Carol Walsh.  Since then it has won many awards including Best restaurant in Temple Bar and it has been featured in the Bridgestone Guide 100 Best Restaurants in Ireland every year since opening.

The Chameleon works on the basis of specialising - in food, ambiance and high quality service. The Chameleon serves Indonesian food which is spicy but not hot spicy. You will find ingredients such as lemongrass, lime leaves, tamarind, turmeric, corriander, cumin and many more asian spices. Sauces are made from coconut milk, ketjap manis (sweet soy sauce), peanut and almond. Service in the Chameleon is of the highest standards, staff are friendly and efficient without being too intrusive.
